Hi! I’m Clover. I am a midwife, women’s health advocate and IBCLC candidate serving families in Marin and Sonoma County.

Currently, I primarily provide lactation, postpartum and fertility support and take a small number of homebirth clients a year. I hope to be a guide for families during their childbearing journeys while centering the inherent wisdom of the body and evidence based practices.

Some might say that my introduction to the world of midwifery came when I was welcomed into the world by midwives at home in Berkeley! My mother, a lifelong believer in women and homebirth, instilled in me a deep trust in the wisdom of all bodies to birth babies safely without much intervention. Raised in a community with many healers and auntie midwives, I always believed birth to be a normal life event to be celebrated not feared.

While completing my undergraduate degree in Public Health & Health Equity at Mills College, I trained as a doula and began attending births in hospitals, birth centers and at home. After college, I worked as a reproductive health counselor at Planned Parenthood all the while continuing to attend births and getting clearer that midwifery was my path. After some years, I began my official midwifery education with Midwives College of Utah.

I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Midwifery after three years of clinical training and preceptorship in both the home setting and in a freestanding birth center in the East Bay. Since then, I have primarily worked as a homebirth midwife in a group practice setting serving Marin and Sonoma County.

In 2023, I began working towards an additional certification as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant or IBCLC. I completed my academic program and supervised clinical hours in 2024 and plan to sit for my exam in April 2025.

In my care, I center client autonomy and believe strongly that you are the expert in your own experience. I have a profound respect for the wisdom of the body and its capacity for healing. For me, midwifery is a devotional practice. It is a path that allows me to touch back into nature and grounds me in the deep mystery of the human experience. I give gratitude to every family that has welcomed me into their birth space and allowed me to care for them in their transition to parenthood.
